aspects of the class include the systematic mapping of the world and country
focused projects.
We make a great effort to study countries where significant news stories happen.
With Web Quests, the Internet, CD-ROMs, videos and textbooks, we study the
world's most populated countries of China and India, along with the many trading
partners of the United States. Assessments include written and oral reports,
projects, Power Point slide shows, student produced videos, quizzes and tests.
For the final class project and exam, students draw a world map.
