Each team will also give a brief oral report showing their final product and giving an overview of their country.

The Process
1. Each person or team in the class will choose a South American country.

2. After country selections have been made, each team will use suggested resources and collect information on their country. Be sure to get information on each category listed in Your Task.

3. After collecting information, write a brief magazine article on each category.

4. Draw pictures or cut them from the National Geographic magazines for your country. When all graphics and articles are ready, present them to the class.

5. Finished sections will be compiled into one complete issue of our class magazine.

Resources

You are to find information on the country you have chosen through the use of books, magazines and computers. The first place to find information on your country will be your textbook. This is a great source of information. If you can use the computers this will become another great source. The National Geography magazines will also become another source of information.

Your report should be written in your own words. If you have gotten information from the Internet you must include the sites ULRs at the end of your report. You must also give credit to the books you have used by stating their names and author at the end of the report.
